ALA has announced the award winning books and videos for youth. You can read the list on their web site or view the video. I’ve read some of these books already, and really enjoyed them.

I loved American Born Chinese! And I’m so excited that a graphic novel won the Printz.

My favs are Flotsam by David Wiesner, Jazz by Walter Dean Myers, and The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield.
There’s a lot that were awarded and honored that I haven’t read yet.
