The 2007 Scott O’Dell Award for Historical Fiction is Green Glass Sea by Ellen Klages (Viking, 2006, ISBN 0-670-06134-4, Gr. 5-8). This was announced January 17, 2007. Penguin Young Readers Group put out a press release about the book and the author (pdf). I haven’t read this yet. Have you?
