Music and the Arts Share Fair was a success! We had four performers: Dusty Gilpin – graffiti artist, Monty Harper – musician, Karla Beatty – OK Conservation, Steve Crawford – magician and Derick Brock – Mad Science.
If you were unable to attend here are a few items that were discussed:
- Review of 2009 summer reading program
- Oklahoma College Savings Plan – we voted to split the $5,000 prize to include teen
- Discussed having patrons sign up vs. walk-in for programs – it really depends on the program, if needed, supplies and the space you have. Sign up is recommended if space is small and if supplies are required.
- Start of 2010 summer reading program – Water
- Brainstormed for 2011 World Culture/World Travel programs and activities and 2012 Night slogans
